I think the Silverstone crowd need to give Jenson the same kind of support Alonso had at Valencia.

Hats off to the Tifosi, they kow how to support their driver on his home ground so i hope we see the same for our Mclaren boys, Jenson in particular.

Cmon Silverstone!!!!!

Before last weekend I would have said Mclaren will likely have the quickest car at Silverstone, now we just have to see how they respond to Red Bull, and whether Red Bull's pace in Valencia was exarcebated by a slower than usual Mclaren.

Button has a mountain to climb, even when he is on top form he struggles to qualify well, when did he last have pole position? Hopefully he has started to sort out the problems he has had lately but he will need to get on the first two rows and then drive like he did last year in Canada. Even without his recent problems he needed and indeed said that he needed to up his game to compete at the front. I don't believe he can do that at his age and he does'nt have long left to do it. Like Andy Murray again he's up against the three best in the business plus others who are not too far away so the job is not getting easier. McClaren may be standing by him publically but I suspect behind closed doors questions are being asked and I believe there will be a move to openly support Hamilton for the championship. It makes sense, Button has been a huge let down after the form he showed last season an

Cant see a decent result again for JB. The Mclaren is now a midfield car and JB is showing its natural pace. Its only getting a few decent results because of Hamiltons phenomenel qualifying pace where he puts it on the front row where it really shouldnt be

So what about the start of the season?

Oh hang on, the McLaren was the fastest car then right? So that explains why Button won, not his skill and driving talent.

But hang on a minute, wasn't there someone else driving a McLaren as well that Button beat???
