@droog "This Boy thrives on ticking off boxes"

Inaccurate statement this "boy" is a man, look at the Army lads a lot less than his age and what they go through...........

Do you really think he is "ticking off boxes" under the duress these guys go through?

Yeah they are lucky to be World Class, but it's their turn, someonbody has to be in the right place at the rght time.

I reckon S.Vettel is a lot more interested in actually RACING than "Point Scoring".

I think Christian is right on all counts this time. Vettel (who has an uncanny resemblence to Justin Bieber) may drive for Ferrari some day, but not anytime soon. I think he is as stated ... happy where he is. Why shouldn't he be? The team was built around him and he is enjoying tremendous success.

Show me a team that does not want constructors points and i will show you a team that will give away their prized drivers without a fight. RB would sell off Marko before they would let SV head to the red corner. That said FA would have a hell of a lot of influence in the team and no doubt given the choice look to MW. That said having a team with MW and FA would go against MW mantra of being allowed to win races and afforded full support. As FA is resident king i dont think MW would get that unless they had a pairing like our boys at Big Mac.

Take a look at the photo of Vettel and Horner.
Now I ask you? Have you ever seen or witnessed Mark Webber being embracced in such a way. Quite pathetic really...and some think Vettel is off to Ferrari...doubt it.
Redbull know where their bread is buttered and this shot says it all, looks as if they are already working him over. I personally believe Ferando woud wipe him anyway...my opinion only.

It'd be close between Vettel and Alonso if both were given equal equipment, depends on luck and who's in form at the time, don't get me wrong Alonso is the complete racer but on raw speed he's not ultra fast like a Senna or Schumi in his prime, even the likes of Trulli and Sham got the better of Alonso on many occasions, but Vettel is probably slightly quicker over 1 lap and also super consistent, and Seb's still improving, you can tell Sham is mentally beaten by Seb by how he always avoids talking about him and always wants to know what 'Sebastian' is doing in races, but Sham is not afraid of Alonso in the same manner, Vettel can beat Alonso in the same car, please Luca make the move happen it'll raise both drivers game and it'd be Senna vs Prost all over again where they leave the rest trailing, the move has to happen, and to throw a spanner into the work please Sham just join Newey's Redbull let's see you at your best.

A few things...

I don't think MW would mind going to ferrari because regardless of what his contract said, you all know he'll be racing to win. I would suggest if the situation came up Mark would suddenly develop 'radio problems'.

Not a fan of his at all, but would also love to see Vettel go to Ferrari to see what he's really made of. The only way he'll get respect is if he beats Alonso in the same car.

With respect to finger boy not being able to develop bad cars as opposed to Alonso who can. Correct me if I'm wrong. The RB was not competitive at the start of the season, now its the best car. The Ferrari was not competitive at the start of the season, now it is. How is this change credited to Alonso but not Vettel?

Don't get me wrong, I think its a full team effort and Mark is the one who is widely known to be a HUGE contributor as far as car development goes, but why do some posters here say Alonso can develop but Vettel cant?
