"only a fool would consider branding Button an also-ran" - Christian Horner.

Clearly Horner hasn't seen the rubbish posted on this site for the last couple of months. A World Champion is NEVER an average driver and they always come out the difficult periods as a better driver which Button has had to do most of his career... he'll bounce back as Horner said.

I hope the Silverstone updates will suit him as the updates from Catalunya have hampered him.

It's typical political claptrap from Horner designed to heap even more pressure on Button. I'm sure Button is well aware of what he has to do to get back into the points. This always happens when a driver is down. Various tem managers have always expressed opinions about other drivers when they have a problem, it's just there way of deflecting criticism from there own team and heaping pressure on the others.

"I am sure Button is well aware of what he has to do to get back into the points" well lets assume that he does know (being aware) of what he has to do to get back into the points that then means he (Button) wasn't able to do what he had to do.
untill he does it (gets back into the points) it can only mean he really doesn't know what he has to do because what he did up to now got him nowhere or better say wasn't good.

Jenson is smooth, smart and has great tire management skills he is using Hamilton's setup which saw an improvement in the last race with a competitive 4 points gained. And just because he is 40 points behind his team mate and 60+ points behind Alonso with the season not even halfway does not mean he cant catch up.

Once Jenson can overcome understeer, oversteer, suspension problems, tires not heating up quick enough, lack of grip ,to much grip, track temperature, cool conditions, and is able to drive quicker than Morgan Freeman then i can see Jenson making a serious challenge on this years championship.
