A second faster because RBR was in the tire "window"? That kind of time difference has only manifested itself at the end of a run actually. Sounds more like he is HOPING the RBR won't be that much faster!

This is good news because Ross Brawn is saying a similar thing he belives it was about tire exploitation more than the upgrades which should keep Mclaren and Ferrari still in the hunt. It seems as Silverstone being a power circuit will give us the answers whether the Red Bulls have made that leap or it was a case of the Valencia circuit

Actually, Red Bull have the big advantage of Sam Michael sitting on the Mclaren pit wall. What's planned for Lewis this time - front jack, bungled tyre changes, underfuelled...? nah done those, must be lollipop blunder

Why don't Sham have a technical fault and retire, he's due 1, none of the fan bois complain when it happens to Button! Vettel should be in the championship lead and Redbull should have another step for Germany, looking good.

Oh yeah Sam Michaels... erm since you and Parr left Williams they are a winning team again, I wonder why...

I for one hope the advantage isn't so large, I'm loving the closeness of this championship.

If anyone deserves to be in the lead of the championship it's definitely Alonso. He dragged that Ferrari to some spectacular positions.

By the way this is coming from a Hamilton "fan boi"

Well 2009 it seems Brawn and Micheals are agreeing with you and i hope we are not going to see another RB7 type dominance as i for one needs to know who is the top pilot out of Vettel, Hamilton and Alonso and as the cars are a lot closer performance wise this season due to a combination of the ban on EBD and these lottery tires.

I'm just wondering what category the Lotus and the Williams will fall into. Lotus seems to be the all rounder and performs on most of the tracks well so far.
