It's a tough one as on one hand I'm deeply saddened by her injuries (especially the loss of an eye) but then happy she's still alive.

I'm still vague to what when wrong and how she hit a stationary truck...seems very wrong

Who cares.
Get rid of second rate teams, before they kill somebody.

What a ridiculous comment !
Who cares ? De Villotas family and friends, her team and all well wishers around the World that's who !
You might have, had it been your sister/wife ??

It had nothing to do with who the team was. Why do you think wheels fall off Mercedes and McLarens in the past ?

If the tail lift had not been left down.
If she had been one metre to the left.
If the truck had not been there if if if....
Accidents happen and this one was a freak one.

This is so sad! Get well soon Maria! I'm glad she survived, but so sorry for her eye. I'm sure she will be back racing again. Maybe in NASCAR because they only go left. All i know is she loves racing too much to quit. Just stay strong and you will overcome this.

Ummm, help me out here, crash.net...my post was a deleted for a "speculative comment". My only comment of note was that the "anti-stall" theory (proposed by Marussia itself) seemed to have merit due to the engine note one can hear on the audio clip. What the hell is wrong with that? Not speculative nor disparaging in the least, certainly not towards Ms. De Villota.

What gives???

NOTE by CRASH.NET! Pending investigation, all theories are speculation, and could damage the results of the official investigation. Anti-stall keeps engine revs at a certain point, but does not affect the drive train.
