This race (Silverstone/British GP) ought to be scrapped. Its a complete shambles not least for 30,000 who were not allowed in. Also goes without saying Ecclestone (that's Bernie) does not want it either.

From what I heard it seems tat Bernie feels sorry for Silverstone. He admitted that he isn't Silverstone's biggest fan but agrees that there is nothing they can do about the weather. Why would they scrap the race. All the drivers/teams love it there. The British fans love it. Plus its got another 14 years to run on their contract so I think people should accept the fact it's here to stay for a while.

Back to quali, Good showing from everyone considering the conditions. Top marks for also, terrible shame for Hamilton but I think were in for a fantastic race tomorrow!

oh for goodness sake john. silverstone is one of the best of the current circuits. you cannot condemn a track which has been affected by the weather! many races have been washed out, but that is not a reason for dropping that particular track. bad weather happens everywhere and anywhere, or are you one of the fair weather only advocates?
