F1 » Hamilton 'still in the hunt' for title

Lewis Hamilton may have finished where he started - in eighth place - and he's certainly had better British GP outings, but he's happy to still be in with a chance of the title.

The average track temperature on Friday and Saturday was around 15 degrees, today during the race it reached 31 degrees, the team attempted to predict the track conditions in q3, where they got caught out leaving Hamilton only one flyer on the inters at the end of the session, then today's second stint for Hamilton consisting of seven laps on the soft tyre! Were they trying to do three-stops?

"I raced my heart out"

Yeah you're the only one who does that Lulu...

Interesting to hear McLaren praise him over the radio every other lap, great stuff Lewis, great pace Lewis, well done Lewis etc etc, must have been scared to say you're going nowhere and will finish exactly where you started in case he wanted to park it, again!

Oh well not a good day for British sport. The Scot Andy Murray has just got a spanking and is crying on centre court the other Scott DiResta seem to struggle in keeping it on the track and the other Brit Jenson doing his best in the Mclaren car.

OH well i suppose Hammi the best of the Brits today

Not even halfway through the season yet. Still too early to call so Lewis is certainly still in the chase. Looking like it could be the most interesting season this century.

You raced your heart out? What the hell did the other 7 guys who finished in front of you do? You raced yours out and still only managed 8th. And 'The best of the Brits today' No, he's right down there on the losing end with the others.

Hamilton had a bad day, and overall McLaren had a very bad weekend. Why such the hate towards Hamilton. He affected nobody today, and yet as usual he's attacked with insults.
EDIT by CRASH.NET! Crude poster insult removed.

McLaren had a mediocre perfermance on their home turf. Now I don't know why some people here are going after Hami for his comment about racing his heart out. He didn't exactly have an incident with anyone and yet he's being critized for speaking his mind? Is the hate level really that high?
