F1 » Grosjean hails 'fantastic job' at Silverstone

Sunday afternoon at Silverstone looked like being a wretched affair for Romain Grosjean after his first lap incident. Instead, it turned into one of his best drives yet in F1.

He had probably the fastest car, yet did not win, nothing to celebrate really, you also have to wonder how much of an advantage he is getting handed to make him look good against Kimi, who is not French or managed by Bullier.

Lotus had he fastest car at Silverstone as they have at most races in 2012. They will not win races however until they get a couple of drvers able to get the E20 onto the front row of the grid. Raikkonen and Grosjean just ain't quick enough

rubbish & pcxmac, If Kimi's car Kers would have worked in quali he would have gained a few tenths, as they said, & started further forward. They could not get it fixed for quali but they said that they would get it fixed for the race & they did. In Canada Kimi's car had differential problems on Friday. They could not get it fixed for quali but said that they could get it fixed for the race, & they did. :)

Guess every team has a dark side uhhhhh

RG is clearly Lotus no.1 driver in terms of parts updates and services.

Glad to see the ICEMAN put up hell of a fight against all odds.

Good luck guys

Wondered how long it would take the Kimi fans to resort to favouritism accusations to explain Kimi's lack of pace. I was a huge Kimi fan right up to the time he joined Ferrar1 and got regularly beaten by some guy by the name of Massa. Face the facts, Kimi is an average driver.
