It was easy choice? There was no choice!
Mark is having a shot at title this year, maybe.
Imagine he refuses RBR contract extension. Will he still have a shot at title? Seriously? In RBR team?

Oh come on...what logic makes you think any team would sabotage its chance to win the championship just because the driver is changing teams? All the history books show is they were number one, not that the driver ran away with the silverware.

Sparky, I'll give you an example or two...

McLaren 1989, Prost was due to leave, Dennis backed Senna to the point of protesting Prost's championship win to fisa. (and failed thankfully)

McLaren 2007, Alonso was due to leave, Dennis backed Hamilton to the point of saying "we are racing against Alonso"

Of course I'm not suggesting that RBR would stoop to McLaren or Dennis's level of bias and favouritisim, few in F1 ever have.
