Compared to 2009, he has done an incredible job. Yes he has had his fair share of incidents, but when he's on form he delivers - and delivers well.

I think 7.5 is about right for Seb. He has made mistakes, but he's fast, respectful of others and seems to be learning each time out. Despite Malodorono having a win (and Grosjean not) I rate the Frenchman far higher.

That guy was all but buried alive at his last F1 attempt, in 2009. I certainly wouldn't have bet a single Kopek on his career.

And now, there he is: 7th in the standings on his comeback, regularly in the big points zone and keeping his WC teammate honest... so far.

This just goes to show how raw and ruthless F1 is to newcomers. This guy had a second chance and is certainly making the most of it. But for one like him, how many just-as-good were crushed and left for dead before they even had a chance to get started?

7.5 / 10 ... I think Romain is being very rough on himself, but I would give him a slightly higher score even taking into account the accident prone start to the season. He has passed Lewis more times this year than any other driver, and twice in some races! ... He's had his head in the right place, he has suffered failure and too it on the chin, the true measure of any sportsman ... and comes back back stronger and stronger. He looks like he has found his sweet spot with the E20 ... I certainly hope so, and I think he is winning the internal battle to be No.1 within the team. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see interest from Ferrari or RedBull for his services if he can keep up his current form an I for one found his Silverstone race and pace outstandingly quick, he really stood out as the fastest for me, but then the stopwatch confirmed that. Amazing drive, and to put those moves on Hamilton making him look like a rookie, well, we all know how much Lewis hates being passed and how
