McLaren's Lewis Hamilton admits it would be 'nice' to get a new contract sorted over the summer break

Is he waiting for Schumacher to finish his talks with Mercedes and check if there is a vacancy there?
Hard to see him joining anywhere, RBR has no vacancy, Ferrari has been blocked by Alonso, and I think Lotus are best off retaining Romain and Kimi.

Yes I agree I don't see him going anywhere simply because as I said I don't see him having any chose at all, and here I assure the doubters that this is no hate, it's simply the situation as I see it, a situation that I believe he had worked upon himself/put himself in, he himself.
Now contrast this with Lulu's situation, I firmly believe that if Alonso or Vettel will announce that they are leaving their respective teams tomorrow there will be at least three top teams waiting for them coming out their respective teams front door.
Now anybody can disagree with the above but I will appreciate a response with the disagree button.

I'm surprised McLaren are still interested in retaining this champagne spraying(inside an hotel room) would be pop star after what I read in the papers. All I can say is Bernie must have some pull to have kept it out of the w/end papers I read anyway, but my opinion on Hamilton since he left the protection of his father manager has somewhat dropped(not that I'm sure he's worried too much) but I have transferred all my allegiances to Jenson from now on.

Jackie Stewart once said that he focused on absolutely everything that could prevent him from winning races and Championships.
This included his relationship with other drivers and team members.
So he made sure to get on with other drivers, so that if he lapped them, they wouldn't hold him up. If he raced hard against other competitors, there wouldn't be anything which could cause problems. 27 wins in 99 races would suggest he was successful.

Compare this to Hamilton. No team wants to take him on because despite his speed he brings too many problems to the team and other driver.
Alonso isn't scared of Hamilton, but he knows there would be friction which cause the team to lose focus.
Vettel wouldn't have a problem with him, but would the Hamilton circus make the RBR team lose focus?
How many collisions has he had with Massa and Maldonado in the last 2 years? It may be clever driving, but Massa has not hit other drivers regulally. Maldonado swiped Perez, but there is history between Lew

Maldonado swiped Perez, but there is history between Lewis and Pastor.
His comments about being "black" and his outlandish criticism of Mclaren at different times will never endear him to other teams.
