Felipe Massa: That might be a difficult target to achieve, but you always need to set yourself a hard challenge...

Each year I expect a shake up in the driver market, and each year it seems to be pushed back. Ferrari will be either Perez or Massa next year, and if he goes well over the next two races then Felipe may have a new contract by Monza.

That's partly because Alonso has 100 more points or so at the moment. If Massa could finish fifth it would constitute quite a remarkable second half of the year. Just for fun, I think the final table will be:
1. Alonso
2. Vettel
3. Hamilton
4. Webber
5. Grosjean IF he has a run of clean races. If not it'll be Kimi, Rosberg or possibly an improved Button.

mr qwerty. de montezemelo has stated that perez is not mature enough for ferrari, and reputable reporters are questioning his position in sauber, with kovi and algy both in the frame there. i would be reasonably certain that flip will be with ferrari next year, as he has been instrumental in the rapid development of the 2012.

Realistic intentions, given what he is capable of as a driver. He could even finsih higher I expect, other hopefulls like, Looser doesnt normally perform well in the rain and doesnt really seem interested in the championship, with personal problems building up again. I honestly feel that Felipes real challenges are his own confidance. Lets see what unfolds.

Felipe is probably the most well'groomed' out there, having been team mates with THE best. The team is mauturing in a improved form and he is now setling with it and things are starting to work for him and Fernando. Why shouldn't it? Its also been hindered by a few major obstacles from his point of view along the way. I wont mention the names of any other 'wannabees' out there, who have contributede to these 'obstacles'.

If FM can keep this level of driving up, he will be back at Ferrari next year. There is no one available that is better than him to put in the seat. I hope he keeps the seat.
