Very good effort indeed. Always a master in the rain.

However, why oh why did Mercedes risk elimination from Q1 by going out on the medium tyres? I know it worked out, but by half a tenth! Seems crazy to me javascript:insertTextCursor('comment', ':?')

Anyone who counts out the Old King of Formula One is foolish. Schumi could very well run away and leave the pack at this race, especially with the tire lottery the way it is.

He seems really at ease with himself. If he has a good race, I suspect he will stay on, maybe even two more years. Watch events, Lewis probably is!! Tomorrow could decide the two guys decisions.

I actually disagree with that. Schumi was the only person to qualify for Q2 on the medium tyres, yet was only 0.950 seconds off the fastest.
If you consider the jump most of the drivers made in time, that would put Schumacher in the top 5ish
