ronnie. ok, i see you gave button some credit, by changing your name back to rgb, from 9-0, as your idol was trounced by button today! and as for lulus arrogance, yes, i do think that his defeatest attitude was in fact arrogance. here a driver was telling the team what to do, when he did not even know wat was wrong with his car. and then saying why did the carbon fibre choose his car to puncture! but then again, isnt arrogance his middle name?

Red Bull may still appeal the penalty, as the video evidence is obvious as to the number of defensive moves made by Button, as well as the two jinks left he made on exit that kept forcing Vettel wider and wider until he was off the racing surface. I think it is hilarious when the mighty McLaren are reduced to crying to the stewards to attain a respectable finish. No doubt they are among those crying about the engine mapping too. Just goes to show when the sport has evolved past the technological and design capabilities of their personnel, they are no better than children on a playground crying because someone else has a better toy. I am shipping a case of tissues to their headquarters tomorrow, so they may cry unimpeded for the remainder of the season.

@ MP4 Whiners well if that's the case they're stupid. Like I said they were lucky to even be in this race. If they want to piss off the FIA let them. Some people believe the FIA has a vendetta against Redbull. This won't help matters.

polo. my boy button????? you must be joking. i am having a crack at rgb, who dislikes button but idolises lulu! lulu did retire, so as to get a freebie gearbox change, but in his pace at any time during the race was slower than buttons, so yes, he was trounced!

mp4. yes macca are consistently complaining about the bulls. they find it difficult to beat them, so they moan at every opportunity. marko previously said there appeared to be a deliberate attack "by some" on the team, and this seems to have some credence. i wonder if dietrich will allow this to continue?

How are they lucky to even be in the race? They were inspected and found to be within the regulations. They are experts at exploiting the gray areas within the rules, that is not cheating nor even frowned upon. Also by appealing the stewards ruling it is not acting defiance of the FIA, it is getting a clarification of why the two rule infractions made by Button were ignored. The FIA is there to make such clarifications. It is a shame that the teams who are pushing innovation, are the ones called cheaters. If innovation and design is no longer wanted in the sport, they should just have a spec chassis and a few engines and become the EuroIndy series.

@ richard a free gearbox change? In that case I would've done the same thing. His race was over after he got that flat. As for Button I don't hate him. I just don't think he's a great driver. He's probably the 5th or 6th best driver on the grid and I did give him credit. He drove a very good race.

Let's see a British ex driver steward punishes a German driver after the race with a 20 second penalty. It reminds me of Hill penalizing Schumacher for passing Alonso on the last lap in Monaco a few years back. It is time to get rid of these nationalistic guest ex-driver stewards.

free gearbox?? dont they have to prove there is an issue with it? so to stop people just randomly stopping near the end of the race for a freebie??

glad to see something finaly caught up to redbull, makes a change
