What has formula1 became.Most of the drivers are bunch of sissys always complaining of hard moves etc.In good old days some of those drivers would get beating for their girlish behavour,on the second thought they would not be in F1 where real men raced.

@rich they both haf an option to back out of it, vettel could of walked past him next lap. hammi was just been hammi a petulant swine. But button did leave a cars width on the exit of the corner and rosberg didnt.

langer. do you really believe that when a driver has overtaken another and had his front wing ahead, he should then slow down and fall back to avoid being run off the road, by a car that could have provided enough space as required? and i thought that this was supposed to be an f1 RACE!

no i do not adire to that new rule. think it only helps the like of pastor. im just saying the he drove off the road to overtake, he could of atleast tried the undercut on the hairpin. hammi was pushed off the road when he was getting along side. i know the sky team are british. but even they all said vettel should of just backed out.

Button drove with respect, left him room on the edge of the track so that he could stay on track but he just drove right off track to pass.

It looks like they're really starting to punish these drivers for passing off track as I've seen passes plenty of times off track at that corner, best solution bring back grass & gravel!

I would like to see grass and gravel brought back to these circuits to stop these stupid incidents happening and punish drivers for making a mistake at corners, they have too much freedom nowadays!

@ RMcGeddon
The penalty was as per the rules as you have said but the penalty was not awarded to Hamilton in Bahrain for a similar rule infringement but applied to Vettel in another race in the same championship which makes penalizing Vettel harsh.

@fia ointment
I am an American, not a Brit or Aussie to hate Vettel and not be upset when he is treated differently and harshly for the same mistake some other drivers did in the same championship.
