Great drive for Kimi, that win is very, very close, Spa looks like the best bet!

Mclaren well done on ruining Jensons race, why did you switch to a 3 stop, he would have finished 4th at worse if it weren't for that extra stop!

Liam, good point Kimi is worth a few quid for the win at Spa. We may have the summer break now but at least we can look forward to returning to a proper track afterwards.

I'm not a Lewis fan but I do congratulate him on great drive and a fantastic win. My man Jenson had his raced completely screwed for him by his team in the pits. He was brought in when leading Vettel and released behind him. He was brought in again when well in front of Alonso and released behind him. Then to rub salt in his wounds he was released again behind Senna. On a track which proved to be impossible to pass on, he was never going to recover the third place he won off the start. Last week in Germany, a race which he possibly could have won, they brought him in too early by two or three laps for the last stint and his tyres just couldn't hang on till the end. When are the McLaren team going to give Jenson a fair crack of the whip. Come on McLaren, get your act together. There are two drivers in the team, one of which is getting a raw deal.

Has anyone other than the pole sitter ever won this race? I don't think so. Kimi showing his stuff. Senna showing the rewards of the faith he had in himself after he was bounced from whereever. Otherwise, boring.

@ aeolus

the pole sitter has won two of the last eight off the top of my head. The race wasn't boring from my point of view, it wasn't a thriller but there was plenty of intrigue.
