It's nothing to do with the drivers, they are fine, what is not fine is the hunk of junk they are driving, put either of these two in the senior Red Bull with the leash off and they would be right up there.

In hindsight maybe an Alguersuari/Ricciardo line-up would have been better while Jean-Eric Vergne could have done GP2 which would have been good for him.

Alguersuari would only have been stonger this year, and this season where intelligent racecraft is rewarded could have been right up his street. And he could have led the team well and provided a good benchmark for Ricciardo.

Maybe Vergne can take over the Radio 5 Live slot for the rest of the season, and Jaime can get back in the car.
