Race results usually indicate who has done a good job during the race, the championship standings tend to indicate who has done a good job over a series of races and also sorts out the contenders from the alsorans.

Mr Sporting Director you seem to have forgoten about the bad pitstop which would have let Grosjean get the jump on Lewis if they themselves had not made a bad pitstop also. Yes credit must be given to the engineering team for getting the Mp4-27 back on track but what happens if it rains or conditions are cool?

Since Sam as arrived as sporting director which is mainly being in charge of the team and the pits on a race day we have seen so much elementary mistakes, mistakes that has cost Lewis from challenging Alonso and now you say it was good pitstop what helped Mclaren win.

If Lewis had not looked after his tires for 20+ laps Kimi would have passed him like he did in Valencia as Micheal and the Mclaren team had run out of ideas.

I was a little bit surprised when Sam Michael got the job, because let's be fair, he never did anything to warrant it at Williams. Infact, since he left them they've improved, and since he joined McLaren, they've got a bit rubbish really.

Thats how its done at Hungary and Monaco . The fastest car on race day doesnt always win . Its about qualifying , pitstops and good driving ( I think sam missed that part out ) .

Win as a team lose as a team? It certainly hasn't been like that since the arrival of Lulu, and Lulu will certainly not take kindly to the latest from the new sporting director of mclaren trying to take credit away from him, after declaring he drove his heart out!/drove one of his toughest races! After declaring how fantastically good the car was and considering the sacrifice he made saying that when right after Silverstone he said/declared that the MP4-27 was fundamentally flowed/wrong.

If am correct Lewis first pit stop was 4.2 sec (Jenson's 2.8) only lucky because Lotus mocked up Grosjean's pit stop. They used Button as a human Guinea pig with their Plan B, they were about bring in Lewis on their Ghost plan B that's when they realised that they ave messed up Button's race
