There are 4 other drivers within 2 race wins of the lead in the WDC. A few spotty finishes and the statistically likely DNF for Fernando and any one of them is in the running.
Lewis is looking good but don't take you eyes off Kimi.

liam. how do you know that the drs of lotus, is any good? it didnt shine in tests. further, did you not realise that this whole ddrs thing is only of use in quali, and if trying to pass another car in the drs zone. other than that, it has proved (courtesy of merc) that it is pretty useless. in fact, use of such a system is to be banned by the fia.

One good result and all past sins are forgotten.

Hamilton has a knack of killing his own title chances. It's actually unprecedented when you think about it. I expect he'll eliminate himself from contention sooner rather than later.

While championships have been won with as few as one win, Lewis has won 2 and 3 races and still managed to sit within the WDC in 4th or 5th for four years running. To win the WDC, he has to overcome this, which Alonso will want to insure he doesn't. I believe Kimi is going to spoil Hamilton's attempt to recover, not to mention the impact of a Weber or Vettel gaining momentum to close the year out on a high. I'd say of them all, Hamilton has the least potential to win the WDC in 2012. If he does, there will be some great racing to come!

Hamilton back in the hunt!

These threads and posts are so opinion orrientated of course.

I actually think Lewis has always been in the hunt this year...I mean, has it been the fault of ballsed up pit stops only to let him down? Or poor strategies, where he is no doubt partly to blame. Many factors, and also there is the other chappy...Fernando who has ruined many a dream this year. Many variables. I still think if the car works in Lewis's favor he is a strong chance because the lad does love a win,...my opinion only...
