If you grind a few numbers, it becomes pretty obvious that someone, Weber, Vettel, Raikkonen, or Hamilton, must break Alonso's back to stand a chance. If Alonso finishes the season as he has started it, he will be at 298 points. If Weber wins 2 and lands 2nd for 7, he will be at 300, Vettel needs 2 wins and 7 2nds, to tie (and an Alonso fail to win), Hamilton and Kimi will need 3 wins and 6 2nds to win. Alonso can win this by remaining consistent. For the others, winning will require an unlikely and amazing breakaway effort.

@ Kevin, that may be true if Ferrari and Alonso can replicate their form. However, they now have the 4th fastest racing car. Button and Grosjean, who are not title race contenders, have shown they can be ahead of Alonso at times so at the moment, Alonso may not be able to replicate his form for the first half of the season whereas a guy like Raikkonen may be able to get a couple of wins and really rack up the points. It's very difficult to judge at the moment.
