@Taz
"When Vettel really impressed at STR their car was arguably better on occasion than the Red Bull at the time so it was easier to impress, taking away nothing from Vettel's talent."

I am not sure if this was an attempt of humor or to discredit Seb but it wasn't good a one. Redbull finished 8th out of 10 in WCC in 2008 and finished 7th. Or are you trying to say that the cars of a team finishing 8th in WCC are comparble to the top teams and it is possible to win in those cars? Anyway if 2008 STR was good enough to win, 2012 STR won't be that bad either. You cannot compare results to Vettel's results because the drivers are not comparable. Don't blame the car.

BTW RBR are not looking for a competitive driver. The results need not be comparable to Vettel's results but DR and JEV are not good enough to be Vettel's no.2 drivers.

angelina. the str and rbr in that year were identical cars, but the str used a ferrari engine instead of the rbr renault. that was the only difference. after that, customer cars were banned!

Are you all forgetting Daniel's young driver test in the RB at Yas Marina in 2010?

1.3 seconds faster than Vettel's Pole lap!

Put him in a competitive car, then you'll see what he can do.

Commodore, those close to Daniel say that he is being very careful not to say the wrong thing at STR, as we all know how that pans out, trust me on this one, he and Vervgne both think the car is rubbish!

I do accept as true with all of the concepts you've presented on your post. They're really convincing and will certainly work.
Nonetheless, the posts are too brief for novices. May you please prolong them a bit from
subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
