Austin's Circuit of the Americas began the intensive final paving process at the end of last week that is required to prepare the circuit ahead of November's USGP

Track looks like it is coming along fine,looking forward to this race should be very interesting.Off the start up the hill and sharp left watch out the bumpers should be good lets hope so.

I agree with the Eau Rouge comment and it is by design, the track owners wanted to take the best parts of the classic tracks and bring them into one circuit. I'm just glad it will have some character to it unlike these flat boring modern tracks.

Should be a good race if the surface has proper time to cure, which it should since they've still got around 3 months to finish it.

The starts will be really interesting going up hill into a corner, I think it will be an ideal overtaking opportunity for those good on their brakes.
