F1 » Circuit of The Americas unveils USGP logo


The first USGP since 2007 now has an official mark, naturally featuring F1 imagery and elements of the Stars and Stripes.

Well done Crash for a story without the visuals. I saw it and its looks like the texas flag so it might as well be called the Texan Grand Prix.

Actually, I think the name IS the Texas Grand Prix, which sounds just hoakey. No offense to Texans, but Austin Grand Prix just sounds better. Oh, well... It will be great to have more races here in the states and it's just another great excuse to fly down to Austin and go eat at the Salt Lick.

That's not the logo for COTA or the Austin Grand Prix. It's the logo for the proposed New Jersey GP and was reported in a seperate article here on Crash.

Google 'Circuit of the Americas logo' and you'll see that it's quite different.
