F1 » September 2013 release for Rush

Race fans are going to have to wait at least another twelve month's before getting to see Ron Howard's take on the 1976 F1 season.

good story , good director. Im glad they are not 'rushing' it . Not like they are in a race to be first to the screen like one of those stupid end of the world asteroid films is it.

Getting the sound right is important, especially given they need to replicate the sounds of the mid 70's. The movie Grand Prix (60's) with James Garner was brilliant for the sound effects of the time but they had the fortune of shooting the movie during the period they were covering which presumably made it alot easier to make.

Anybody who hasn't seen Grand Prix, I recommend it with the volume up loud especially for the first 10 minutes as you watch the F1 cars of yesteryear scream through the streets of Monaco.
