I dont think he is hated, it is more a case of people thinking him being in the car so often weakens Senna's performance. Williams should have this guy for testing and let the drivers compete the entire weekend schedule. By taking away 90 minutes from Senna every weekend it certainly costs the team points.

Also, he is managed by Toto Wolff since way back. His results are impressive, no denying that, but he has no doubt been helped with always being in the right car with the best teams etc, much like a certain Lewis Hamilton. I think Bottas has looked pretty good in testing though, so he may well be the real deal. Personally though I think it would have been better to stick him in a GP2 so he can get some racing under his belt rather than have him interfere with Senna's race preparation...

His record is NOT impressive at all when you take into consideration who he beat and by what margin he did. Not to mention this guys hasn't raced GP2 and there comes my BIG question...WHY NOT? Because GP2 is a do or die series for a driver's career you do well and you might end up in F1 you do poorly go home race some GT class! Bottas' is trying to leapfrog that who wants not part with Valsechi Razia and others I personally can't see Bottas beating Razia or Valsechi and I think he knows that so he's trying the back door to F1! The problem with that is he's not getting enough time on an F1 car and he's not getting the real experience he should had at GP2 and in the process screwing Bruno Senna's weekend the entire season. Bottas might not be that bad but he's clearly NOT F1 material unless he can prove the opposite BACK in GP2!

Well his agent is part owner of the team so this is no surprise. As long as he puts in a decent effort in practices and test sessions, it will only about time that he gets to drive at some point.

Bottas sure is turning in some impressive times as a Friday driver..
Maybe Williams is send a covert message to Senna to up his game.
His record in GP2 means little to me. What he dose behind the wheel
of a F1 machine is whats counts. We may have the making of a new
hot foot..Like Grosjean over at Lotus.
What he needs is a good press agent..That photo, ouch! A Tiapan
smile, that it is..
Hi Hi Just funnin..

Old, Jose
