Tragic one this.
imo Kubica could of been an Alonso beater. He had Hamilton speed with Alonso consistency.
In todays 'Renault' he'd almost certainly be heading to a WDC.

But with that injury, and the extended absence I fear he'll end his career as a lost talent.
Very sad.

"guyfos and cobalt. no, he was NOT driving rally cars. he was at the skoda factory and was pictured with a car, but as he had no movement in his elbow, how on earth could he drive it? and as for the kart, it was an electric kart and his hand was strapped to the wheel. these are facts" These are not facts, these are twitst and turns of your mind and your incorrect interpratations of your vivid imagination. Perhaps you'll feed us again some story from your wife who you claim is a registered nurse? Richey - The facts are: Kubica has been driving karts and rally cars without his hand being taped to the wheel. "taped to a wheel" what an utter nonsense!! LoL. I think you should try to push yourself away from the scotch bottle because that contributes to the drivell you are spewing out here.

Forget about the accident for a moment...
It is difficult for anyone to come back to F1 after a two - year hiatus. Kimi is an exception and he was racing constantly while away.
A return is to F1 is very unlikely, but hopefully he will race again one day, but it will almost certainly not be in F1.

nifty. talk about drivel! what i said are the substantiated facts, whether or not you believe them. read what alonso says! and for your info, when robert was supposedly driving rally cars, he had an external brace on his arm. now, dr nifty, tell me how he managed that?

oh, and by the way, robert also said that HE was providing NO info on his condition.

now, point me to ANY picture or confirmation that he drove a ally car, or that he was in a kart other than what i described, details of which were actually released by the italian track that he went to.

I referred to Robert driving his own Cleo rally car in April, of course he was not driving at the competetive level but he was able to drive.

There is a montage of photos from Erreffe test, no braces in sight, I dont think Robert would wear driving gear as a fashion accessory...

Not that it matters...
Nobody is saying that he fully recovered, if he did he would be driving in F1

cobalt. you are gullible. the so-called video does NOT show kubica driving a car. it shows a number of posed photos with his right hand out of sight, apart from the last photo. and yes, it is normal for professional drivers to wear driving suits at publicity events. now, if he did drive, would you not expect the video to concentrate on that? as i said, he visited the team, that is all. he still has little to no power in his fingers and has no lateral strength in his elbow. hardly surprising given the damage. polish sites are also reporting that he will NOT be returning to f1.

Richard, you cant identify someone inside a car wearing a helmet. Kubica is highly regarded in rally circle, he would be rediculed if he dressed up and tried to pretend that he was driving. There was confirmation from his doctor and manager that he is ableto drive.
As long Robert himself is not making a statement if he is ready to return or not no site can report anything about his intentions.
His doctor gave an interview with polish media, he said hand is OK, elbow remains a problem hence the operation. Not over till Kubica gets fat and sings!

at the bottom of the page ....

"A video showing the car in action reportedly isn't of Kubica, but sources close to the driver confirm he did complete a few runs in the same car, but not at the same level."

..... but not at the same level .....

Richard, I'm sorry but it's staggeringly arrogant to call someone gullible because they don't believe what your saying.

You might be right or wrong but you have no right to say that.
