There is no confirmation yet there is no denial. Would some journalist just ask people involved. If it is true, great, 4 days of testing!
I wouldnt say "secret" test, more private or unofitial.

I doubt he'd be replacing Latvala, a fully fit Kimi struggled to make a big impression in WRC although he wasn't far of regulars on some events.

Good news if he's getting some time in the car though.

the source of the rumour was a blog by saward, someone who is known not to be the most reliable! latvala was also supposed to be present, yet he must have had a clone, as he was in germany at the same time!
someone testing a wrc car on a race track? and ford saying that they didnt want to say who it was due to relationship. so it could just as easily have been someone who is proposing to join the team, or is considering switching marques next year, and doesnt want it known.
so that now makes it renault, skoda, peugeot and ford, that robert has had secret tests with. well, at least he is versatile.
i remain a sceptic until i see an actual video or confirmation from robert himself.

Richard, sorry to say that but you seem always so negative every time there is some news about KUB. I understand that you want bare facts but the tone of your comments implies rather than you sort of can't agree that Robert might be back in motorsport sooner than later. Pity, as Robert's comeback would be a great news for any motorsport fan (f1 or not), I'd imagine.

As for me, I still belive he can make it back to F1. As someone already said here, if the mind is willing, the body will follow. even though WRC wouldn't be bad neither, Rob has an unfinished business with f1 for sure...

ww and jose. i am not being negative, but i am looking for the positive. when rumours are started, i look for the truth. there is NOTHING to substantiate this current rumour, just as the rumours previously have never been substantiated or have proven to be false.
there is nothing wrong with being sceptical and looking for the truth. and isnt this forum all about different people having different views?

now, PROVE that the rumour is true!!

Umm Richard,'looking for the positive' is by definition NOT being skeptical.

Rumours aren't false until proven true. Assuming so is being negative.

You, my friend, are a downer.
