Three-time F1 world champion Jackie Stewart believes that Mark Webber has the experience to launch a title bid over the remainder of 2012.

Webber may close the gap to Alonso, but has no hope of winning the title at the end of the day he hasn't got that 'something special' or the balls to win. He has come close in the past but bottled out...this year will be the same

@Paulie ... You couldn't be more wrong, in fact, I doubt after reading your comment that you even watch F1 ... Webber is a fierce competitor, a strong willed and aggressive but metered driver who has no problem going toe to toe with Alonso as pointed out ... haven't seen anyone else race as hard or as close as that, in one of the fastest corners on one of the fastest tracks ... against one of the most challenging drivers ... please explain to me, to us all in fact, how you came to that conclusion. That should be a good read!

Thats easier said than done. Mechanical failures and tyre blow outs can still occur, and Stewart himself had a crash at Spa in the 1960's that nearly killed him.
