I have to admit I'm not a great fan of Kobi san. I think he is wild and often dangerous. I'm not a big fan of drivers who come steaming down the inside and block another drivers turn in. There are a few who are guilty including Hamilton. His clumsy attempts on Massa last year were a joke. I hope he can contain himself tomorrow and drive a sensible race and prove he is worthy.. anyone can be fast.. Funny thing is Kobi is called Brave, and yet Maldonado is called an idiot for similar driving.. but I'm sure the stewards will do there best to manipulate the end result.

Realfan 10 - I have to disagree with you there, he isn't wild or dangerous. Yes he goes for the gaps, but he rarely causes an accident when he goes for it. Also you mentioned Massa last year, who is a MUCH more reckless driver if you ask me. Anyway wasn't it Senna who famously said "if you no longer go for a gap that exist, you are no longer racing driver."

Another misconception is that KK has an aggressive driving style.. I don't see it personally, go watch any onboard footage of him driving.. He's incredibly smooth unlike Perez who hacks at the wheel more.

@Realfan 10: I assume you saw him at Suzuka a few years back? All of his inside passes just past the bridge were clean and exciting, which can't be said for most of the current field. Ask anyone and he'll be the last person they pick as a dangerous driver.

All I have say is this, Kobayashi is the BEST racecar driver to ever come out of Japan including those ballerinas in tin tops going sideways. The man have immense talent from the first time I saw him in a toyota till today. Never lost faith in him despite a couple of poor races. After F1, he will have a strong career in Le mans and I have no doubt a future 24hour overall winner.

I hope that Kamui will get away from the grid clean and pass the first corner with no problem. That's the only wish I have, and I will leave everything that comes afterward to Kamui and Sauber.
I am sure he and his team are discussing how to bring the best result more than we viewers do, but how exciting to see the race!!!

Overrated driver over-hyped by a fast car.
Opps sorry the car is not driven by Vettel or Jense to call it a fast car so it shud not be a fast car although both him and his teammate look good in it.
