eric. lulus car was NOWHERE near a wall. he was not even pushed onto the grass and there was a width of at least 12ft between the track and the wall.
it WAS spa that you were watching, wasn't it?
ok lulu could maybe have gone onto the grass, but the result would have been as bad or worse. car was accellerating hard, and if this happened on the grass, car would have snapped sideways into a number of other cars.

richard, whether he went into the wall or the grass is immaterial. Hamilton or as you want to call him, 'lulu' was guilty of retaliation which could have impacted on Perez or Kobayashi. You appear to be defensive in favour of lulu because you know that he did accelerate in retaliation. No point in telling me about trivia you patronising Brit!

@Eric and Louise

It's Spa like Richard allready said. A long straight and then a right turn (1st corner). Imagine u're self in Lewis position. U start at the right side of the track with grass and a wall at your right side... first corner almost comes up.... people starting 2 brake for the corner. u still on the right side and 2 take the corner well u have 2 go 2 the left side of the road! U only have a couple of secs or even less 2 look what's up in the front of u and know when 2 brake cuz u're on the wrong side to take the corner. Suddenly, there comes another car right next 2 u out of nowhere. Now u got 4 options: 1: lift the throttle (but keep in mind that more cars will pass u. 2: go more 2 the right (almost no room but if u're an idiot u do that, with the consequence that a tire touch the grass (anyone with brains will know what happen if u got a tire/tires on the grass), the wall will suck u in and bounce u back on the road with even a bigger crash then we saw). 3: Stay put a

3: Stay put and hoping that all goes fine (what not happend) and finaly
4: Not race at all and stay on the starting spot and hoping that all other drivers get a dnf.
What would u do in that couple of seconds???
Btw: Watched the replay a couple of times from lewis's car, and i saw just right before they touched Lewis moves a lil 2 the right.
Watch de white line at the right side of Lewis. And what seems strange is that there is no onboard footage from Romain's car?! Wtf??

oh eric. what a bitter post. if you do not know the difference between going onto grass, and hitting a wall, i hope that you never get near a racetrack. and to say that lulu swerved towards grosjean is just plain hogwash. chief thunder has put is clearly.

and by the way, what has where i live or come from got to do with it?
people will tell you that i am no fan of lulu, but neither would i try to blame him for something that was clearly not his fault.

Richard, I never thought that I would ever agree with you. Your comments don't just relate to Hamilton, they should relate to any driver on the circuit. As for the rest of you, it saddens me greatly as a long time motor sport fan to see the pure hatred on this forum to some drivers because of their nationality or team or the car they drive. These guys are the best in the world at what they do and as Sunday demonstrated only to chillingly, risk their lives every time they step into that car. so please show them all some respect and drop all the derogatory names too often displayed to selected drivers on this site. This is a motor racing forum, not a hate fest.
