It's out of Jenson's hands, is all he can do is concentrate on getting on that top spot and out doing his team mate. Whether he gets the championship or not will then be decided behind him.

Class act and at least he's a team player and doesn't post sensitive company information on twitter for your rivals and the whole world to see, the rest of the paddock is still laughing at that one.

Even when Jenson was struggling with tyres and setup he never criticised the team.

I can't think what possessed Lewis to do that.

Being an Aussie, Webber will always be my number 1 and Ricciardo No. 2. However Jenson, you've always been an absolute gentlemen so if my countrymen can't win it, I'd like you to.

Being humble and getting the job done speaks volumes.

Nah JB, it's gone. It was gone a while ago, but admiting that would mean that he would have to help LH, which is the last thing he'd do, hence all the talk about having a mathematical chance.

After his pre race talk about still having a chance, the Spa race only helped, with him scoring the max and FA scoring zip. If his thinking was the same, it shouldn't have changed, but it has.

It's not just about catching Alonso, he also has to catch Vettel, Webber, Raikonnen and Hamilton.

The mclaren is undoubtably the best car right now but its a tall order

In Italian there is proverb, A bit rude but accurate to Button s prediction, ..translate if you dare..

"Chi vive sperando muore cagando"

Here Sunny , this is slang but, practise, your Italian on Google translate.

I think everyone, including JB, has been well and truly sucked in by the new scoring 'system'. Remember please that the PROPORTION of points given for each position finished is roughly the same as it was in 'the old days', but multiplied by 2.5. So in old money, JB is fifteen points behind FA, and in BOTH systems the difference is 'a win and a half'. There are EIGHT races left for gawds sake, JB ought to be completely pumped up for the charge to the top.

Lets face it, this weekend was one hell of a one off.

The lack of practice resulted in red bull getting it wrong, Lotus not being able to try their double DRS, and a 50 50 choice in set up working out in Button's favour.

Added to Alonso and Hamilton not even making the first corner, Button fans are deluded if they think that this is the start of a title charge, this is the kind of freak race that happens once a season.

I can frustration about his qualifying position and Jenson maximizing his effort with the new wing. The truth is Hamilton is a very good driver, but he's also very immature. This whole Twitter thing confirms that. It was just stupid.
