Would be good to see 'Jerommeke' back in a competitive car, but I'm afraid it's a poison chalice, as he didn't have one testing outing in it yet. The other possibility is that Boullier will just overlook him altogether as most testdrivers at Renault used to be hauled in to fill the piggybank and get one or maybe two outings

Surely there is better out there than this get Rubens in the car and let him have the final race that he deserved and leave F1 with a bang and not a whimper like he did last year.

I just hope for him that it won't rain in Monza - I haven't watched the forecast - so that he can have fruitful FPs.

Otherwise, I would love to see Jean Alesi drive in Italy since he's Lotus ambassador and in a way, a one out race can be harmful for a driver like d'Ambrosio.

@LOL Rubens is starting to show his talent in Indycar. Don't forget that he is driving most of these tracks for the first time. He got fourth at Sonoma last week which was one of the tracks that he had previously tested on. That is about the best that could be expected from a non-Penske non-Target driver.
