@ Andy Latham ... Please explain last week then? .. In fact, please explain the last 5 years.

The fastest driver is very seldom the first one over the line. Its not ALL about speed... that is Hamilton's down fall, but your comment is laughable.

I appreciate he is a "good" driver in an exceptional car, but dont go getting all excited with Hamilton doing some low fuel race simulations for him being the outright quickest!...

New to F1?

Sean last week i gave him wrong information regards rear wing we mclaren have to hold our hands up to that.

last five years runner up in his first season putting Alonso to the sword and i think he created about 12 British records as well, Phil Prew said he was the best rookie he ever worked with and lauda saying the best rookie ever. In 2008 he becomes the youngest world champ. 09 dog car 2010 even with the arrival of the Newey super machines he takes his fight for the championship to the last race. 2011 even though having his worst season he is still joint 2nd with the number wins and in 2012 would be leading if not for Mclarens mistakes

So Sean what we see is a driver who wins races every season he has participated and as been in contention for a world championship tittle in all seasons bar 09 and 11 for reasons outside his control and this from a guy who has nothing more to offer than just tallent.

I'm sorry pole position i just get carried away when Lewis is behind the wheel of a competitive Mclaren as he just seems so quick i just cant explain, but i will try to tone down my comments.

@ Andy Latham well, my definition of a "fanboy" is someone who thinks the driver he or she supports can't do no wrong. There's a lot of them on Crash. Which is really ridiculous.

I don't believe that Lewis Hamilton's talent has ever been in doubt providing that the issues raised by tabloid reporters outside of F1 do not interfere with the day job! This is an extremely tense and competitive enviroment to work in for the teams and the drivers alike, and I hope that Lewis and Jenson can rise above these peripheral press issues and comments and finish 1 and 2 in whatever order that fortune allows, and take the fight to the end of the season.
Come on McLaren!!

polo. the archetypal fanboy is in fact rgb/luluisnotsogreat/lulusbiggestfan/andylatham. keeps up the same rhetoric to try and make people believe that there is more than one lulu fan here!
