Pat Fry: It's very unusual for us to have three problems in three separate areas – engine, brakes and gearbox – on the same day, therefore we will have to look very closely at what happened

How they can even CONSIDER penalising a driver or even discuss the matter after what occured to him ONLY last weekend, through NO fault of his own?? Trully escapes me. Are they really trying to make that much easier for the 'other' Hopefull? The Fan Boys' hopefull?

He should be allowed an extra- brand new car, and engine and everything (no questions asked) and given the choice considering the rediculous cercumstances of that 'incedent'last weekend. It just isnt fair he had no control over what happend last weekend at Spa and, I would go so far as to say it was an opertunistic attack on him from the one that was careless. It was sooo un beleiveable.

hahaha Should get a new car who are you? so many drivers get taken ut and they dont get new cars or gear boxes!! Its a ferrari thing they get away with what ever they want when they want.. Just ask Bernie.... And i Quote "f1 is nothing with out ferrari" Change of gear box=5 grid penalty for any car except Ferrari...
Aloso was unlucky last weekend so was lewis and if grosjean had of not hit Alonso he wouldnt have been banned for a 1 race... No esle has been for worse...
lets see what can of worms i just opened :-)

I agree with allowing him a new car, in fact all who could not carry on should get one and the team of the driver who caused it should have to foot the bill. Thay would soon stop some of the stupid wreckless actions.

Its a disgrace how that common element in all the crashes this season gets away smiling at the end of the day.

I cant understand why they would state "Alonso escapes grid penalties" Why should he receive penalties after the LH caused incedent last weekend at Spa?
