Did anyone see the response from Whitmarsh at the team victory photo? Sat between Lewis and Jenson, spoke to Jenson and then put his arm around him for the photo. Almost totally ignored Lewis, despite the photo being taken to celebrate HIS victory!

PP i was saying what you are last year the fact is Mclaren and Whitmarsh want a winning Mclaren car and they know Lewis has more of a chance of delivering what they want, yes i believe Whitmarsh does favour Button but Whitmarsh and Mclaren knows there are no other drivers out there in Hamiltons league as the top ones are tied to contracts Vettel,Alonso and Kimi, and wont take chances on the likes of Diresta or Kobi.

I would not of said this a year ago but it is Ron Dennis and Lewis who are holding up contracts being signed as i believe Lewis has been made an offer by Mclaren but for what ever reason Lewis and Fuller are not happy with it.

Sorry Crash, but it wasn't a lights to flag win for Hamilton. Sergio Perez managed to lead a number of laps today after Hamilton's stop before pitting himself.

Yes, there is tension between Lewis and Martin, and as fans we can't really know the dynamics behind the scenes. But Whitmarsh has been with Lewis for his entire career, and I do not believe he wants him gone, as some would suggest. I do think it is fortuitous for McLaren that Button's car broke instead of Hamilton's, as Button will suck it up and come back to race another day. The true professional. Had Hamilton's car broke and Button won, his championship hopes would have been badly damaged, and I suspect he would be making a quick announcement that he was going to Mercedes for next year. Now? I think he stays with McLaren.

It's so difficult to make an oservation on here without all the fanboy/bumboy types going off on one but I'll try. I said last week that I thought that, in banning RG, the stewards were punishing him for consequence of the crime, not the crime itsself. Lok at the SV/FA incident today and the only big difference is that there was no big wreck as a result. Whether RG was punished too harsh or SV too lightly, I certainly think their punishments should have been the same....
