F1 » Vergne accident 'high' point of STR weekend

There was little to celebrate for Toro Rosso at Monza after it missed out on points at its home grand prix.

Blaming the driver before having had a chance to examine the car is not acceptable.

Sebastien Bourdais career has been ruined by STR, and I only hope JEV will not be the next French victim of this team and their crappy managers...

I also find it odd that the team can blame driver error when tv replays showed pretty clearly that the left rear wheel was at an incorrect angle as the car first spun onto the grass (i.e. before it went flying over the kerbs).

Why not just come out and accept it is at least a car issue? This is the same team that told Jaime Alguersuari he was being retained for 2012, leading him to turn down a drive at Renault out of faith the STR, only to be dumped anyway. They are my least favourite team in F1.

Looking at the replay a few times ..STR time to man-up
Something at the rear went bad ..The angle that one rear wheel
took did not look nice. Nothing Vergne could do..A nasty off it was
leaving the track that way,,really not nice..
