Lewis Hamilton believes that Fernando Alonso would have been a bigger threat in the Italian Grand Prix had he qualified higher up the grid.

The booing when he got his trophy was very apparent, he'll never be forgiven by the Tifosi after their year at McLaren.

About as popular as DC was when he turned up there after driving into Schumacher....I should know, I was there and wearing a DC cap...probably not the smartest move ever.

I want Button and Whitmarsh to shut-up and just let Hamilton concentrate on trying to bring the 2012 home with the rest of the team. As long as those 2 don't get on his way I'm sure McLaren and Hamilton have a great chance of winning this year's title.

i wonder if macca will continue to support him after his antics after the race. on another site, there is a comment that an employee in the macca pits, did actually say "he has to go". so it does really look as if the team is turning against him.

richard, the press whether its British, Italian etc, etc, likes to sensationalize comments to get people's attention to sell copies or get them to visit their website. It sometimes pays to cast a skeptical ear over such hearsay even if a Macca personnel was heard to mutter those words.

LH 2012 WDC.

I wonder how many hates this will get? Crash.net seems full of them...

A win in Singapore and his championship bid will seriously gather momentum, it will have been his best few races since about 2010.

And just sign already Lewis, I'd take more championships over more money any day.
