I really hope Hamilton goes to Mercedes.

I cannot wait to see the pain on Whitmarsh's face in 2013 as Lewis Hamilton ruthlessly spanks Button and McLaren in an inferior car.

McLaren spend millions trying to find hundredths of a second and they are quibbling over Hamilton's salary who will bring them 0.5 second more than Jenson Button (down to 3/10ths after JB has had a look at Hamilton's set up and telemetry).

The ungrateful gits don't deserve his talent. Go on Lewis, off to Mercedes (and tweet a bit more info on weight distribution / ride heights to help Mercedes out with tyre deg before you go!).

@Martin

You couldn't out it any better, in 2009 when they had a dog of a car, I could remember Lewis and Kovi starting 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th position. and he got the max out of that car that didnt have the Diffuser Brawn GP had. But according to Alonso who said yesterday or his recent interview that apart from the 2008's last corner McLaren has been unsuccessful

I dont really care which team Hamilton goes to. Im more interested in seeing who Mclaren will bring in to fill his seat.

I kinda hope they do a simple driver swap and bring Rosberg to Mclaren.
Mclarens equal driver policy im sure would suite Rosberg.
And lets be honest Schumacher at this stage of his career would prob accept number 2 status with certain conditions ie.. If he was leading the race he would be allowed to win and not move over. And Hamilton would accept this due to thinking he is gonna be faster than Schumacher anyways.
What a great yardstick this would be to see how fast each of the drivers actually were compared to how fast we think they are!.

Lewis the Great. Really difficult for you I know. You do get most things back to front. READ my post AGAIN.
I was CLEARLY complimenting Alonso on his very funny comment. "If I had to choose between Hamilton and Vettel, I'd choose Raikkonen!" You are a FUNNY guy Fernando. He was, dissing your hero, the Hamster, who did beat Button in '10 by 26 points, wow!, 4th in the championship, to Button's 5th. In '11, Button finished 2nd to Ham's 5th, and by 43 points. So far, Button 23 podiums, to Ham's 21. Button with 7 wins and 9 for Lewis. So your super hero has hardly destroyed Jenson as was predicted.

Is super hero Hamfisted worth fifteen million per year? Over three years, forty five million GBP which is almost seventy four thousand per point, for his six hundred and nine points. Jenson, on eight million per year, costing twenty four million over three years, makes him a bargain at forty one thousand GBP per point for his five hundred and eighty five points total. Just a total of twenty four points less than Hamilton.
McL have signed Jens again for five more years at twelve million GBP per year. This is almost as much as McL are now refusing to pay Hamilton for him to stay.
McL know Jens is worth every penny and did not hesitate.
By the way Jules, for your information, the Brawn year was 2009 NOT 2008.
And Jose, sorry mate, but the Ham fans post really stupid comments all the time, like their hero, and then they get upset when we take the Michael. They do ask for it.

HartleyF1 Interesting thoughts. Yes I'd like to see Nico go to McL, and Ham partner the Schu. Not sure who would be faster. Ham tried to pass Schu for several laps in Italy last year and failed to get by.
Jenson came up behind them and just pissed past both of them as if they weren't there.
Suck it up Hamfanjistas.

XIX are not in the business of keeping fans happy or even assisting LH to win a WDC. They are in it to maximise their income by placing their clients in the most lucrative positions and then exploiting every last scintilla of PR they can.
If they can get a $50m contract for LH to drive golf buggies, keep him on the main pages of the papers and market Lulu perfume, Lulu knickers, Lulu shampoo and Lulu pile cream, they will.
Beckham, after all, abandoned his fans and chased the money. He is now worth more than $200m and I dare say XIX have done pretty well too.

So many good comments, where do I start?

Pottor - Great comment couldn't have put it better myself.

Insideline - LMFAO at the Alonso choosing Raikkonen post!

Mrfill - X1X and Lulu are a perfect match, all for fame and fortune sod being great at what you do. As you say, look at Beckham, plenty of cash, lots of fame but when did he last play a meaningful football match at the highest level?

As for my comment, this article really sums up Lulu, not happy at "only" being an F1 driver earning millions at one of the sports most successful teams, oh no he's concerned "by the perceived undervaluing of his image rights" what a completely self obsessed little tw*t!
Leave F1 to the MEN that want to race their nuts off Lulu, if image rights are more important to you take up modeling you little ponce!

since hamilton has been in f1 he has had the best or equal best car on the grid, and won one world championship. He is a good driver but not a great driver,a great driver can win in a not so good car,can develope a so so car into a winner.I hope brawn will be able to keep telling him how good he is and how well he's driving outherwise he may have another sulk and say nobody cares.
