If he does leave I will be the happiest cat on crash. Lewis needs to get out of Mclaren and move on with his life. Then Whitmarsh and Button can have the place all to themselves. Whoever takes Hamilton's place will be the undoubted #2 driver. Button will see to that. Not, many more pole positions in Mclaren's future. It will be very interesting.

Hamilton should really join Mercedes to take up the challenge of trying to win races without the fastest car on the track. He is the only WorldChampion who has never driven for a 2nd tier team. I think he can really hone his driving skills and maturity by driving for a Mercedes. Anyway, Mercedes is still a considered a well resourced team and comparable to McL.

It is time to have a new experience and he should close his Chapter with McL. Look at how Alonso and Kimi are proving that they can be competitive even when they don't have the best car on the track.

McL can build fast cars but the driver strategies are wrong. The reason they have not won a WDC for so long is they don't have a designated No 1 driver.

Its high time Lulu did some laps in a Marussia or HRT so he can understand what ALL other F1 drivers had to do before being handed over a championship winning car. He shouldn't be allowed to continue driving one of the top cars considering his average performance over the last 5 or 6 years. There are plenty of young, respectable Hot Shoes that are deserving of a chance with a team that has resources like McLaren.
