Jake Humphrey to leave the BBC for BT

It's a shame to see him leave the BBC. Jake has grown into his role presenting Formula One tremendously and the banter between himself, Eddie and DC is always entertaining to watch! Wish him the best of luck for his new role with the new BT project, hopefully they can show Sky Sports a thing or two...

oh well just as I was getting used to the conceited beanpole.
Maybe we can go back to covering F1 not him and his sidekick's exploits.
Maybe he was worn down by all the critical tweets on his ipad following the bbc f1 stitch-up.
Or else he knows something we dont about future treachery by the bbc?

Odd how the better folk leave - Brundle, Croft, Ted whatnot - leaving the dregs
(who are the pit lane people now?) Humphrey has improved considerably and to be fair so has Gary Anderson (very informative). Now, if only somebody would entice the gibbering Irishman away and please please sack the failed Spanish F1 driver - who has never learnt how to give a clear concise answer, but drones on and on and and on (mostly about himself) things could perhaps become more professional, and I could spend less time operating the mute button!

Well the BBC will employ someone who had no idea what F1 stood for in the first place.

Sky coverage is WAY WAY superior anyway.

Even when the BBC had it live Leigh Mckenzie was so so much better at it and knowledgable.

Lets hope Sky poach her too :)

Lifelong dream of presenting prem football......really dot understand how sitting in a room talking rubbish about 22 blokes kicking round a ball can come close to travelling the world presenting formula 1....each to their own I guess but seems mental to me!!

Always liked jake, mind u I watch Sky now not BBC so doesn't matter to me...

Money talks, eh? Well, I despise $ky and I'll never pay them a penny, so I'll be interested to see what BBC treachery lies ahead - I can see the day when F1 won't mean anything to me.

As for "dreaming" of presenting football - I don't get it. I hate it even more than I hate $ky.

I'm sure Lee McKenzie would be able to handle the job.
