He was far too tall anyway At least when he is sitting he won't tower over people so much . Can't say it's a step up . I have got BT Vision in my bedroom and the only time i watch it is when i don't have company .
I havn't watched it for weeks .Best of luck to the guy it's probably a good move getting established at a new set up .

I for one am very sad to see Jake go. The wind walking film at the start of the British Grand Prix was a priceless intro into a great spectacle.
Am very worried that we might get James Allen......NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Was thinking Craig Doyle, think he would be great apart from that am struggling to fill Jake's big shoes!!
I wish him good luck but think he is a great loss to the beeb.

idiot I may be but at least I know I live in a listed building in a conservation area (no dish allowed) and in a non-cabled area which leaves me very little choice. I do have BT vision but skyF1HD is not available. Sky is stealing F1 from me and I have no desire to move just to line the pockets of a geriatric Aussie.
Cost is not an issue for me, availability is, and I shall use whatever methods I need to watch live - vipbox suits my needs at present.

can we have a return to presenters that dont think its all about them? BBC seem to think the link man is some sort of superstar. Eurosport are the other extreme, a voice and no face. lol
