@ Jumbobet,

His career is only backwards because he was lucky to have such a good start, but has consistently delivered poor results and made plenty of amateur mistakes.

in 2007 he came 7th for a team (renault) that won the last two chanpionships, in 2008 he scored only half the points of his teammate at Mclaren, and again in 2009, with a best finish of 5th and 12th in the championship.

He doesnt deserve to be at a better team than Catherham, he is the next Trulli not the next Alonso, Vettel or Hamilton or even webber

With all due respect FJ, Renault were not competitive in 2007 and in fact Kovalainen got the team's only podium in that season and beat his more seasoned teammate Fisichella. Okay, at McLaren, he didn't benefit from having a more competitive teammate, but how many technical retirements did Heikki suffer compared to Lewis? At least five while Lewis only had one. Heikki had far worse luck with his machinery than Lewis' ever did, suggesting that McLaren were clearly favouring one driver over the other. Nonetheless, I'm a big fan of Heikki and I think he's learnt from his early troubles and no matter how unlikely it may be that he'll drive for a top caliber team again, he deserves his second chance. That's my opinion.

I "remember you" that trulli won 1 race and had 11 podiums from 256 starts, Alonso has 30 wins from 191 races. So whatever month you remember trulli out qualifying Alonso is insignificant.

Heikki's 4 podiums and 1 win (despite two years at Mclaren) might put some lead in your pencil if you like crap drivers.
