The title SHOULD read:

Karthikeyan Happy To Just Be In F1!!!

Honestly, yes, he's in an absolute back-marker team, but come ON! He has out qualified his team mate ONCE!!!! I don't think he deserves an F1 drive to be honest... There are so many talented young guys that don't have the cash Narain's backing can offer...

From a driving point of view there are better choices but he may be useful to Bernie by promoting more local interest in the Indian race. From his view its better being the president of the F1 caravan club than not being in F1 at all.

Depends how much money he has. And whether the team would rather have an old driver and a young driver, not 2 old drivers.

Also, just saw that this is the first year that HRT have only had 2 drivers driving the whole season to this point.

@sunny he is the first ever indian driver to be on any motorsport grid,f1,motogp.he is really useful for promoting the project f1 in india.when india is just taking f1 in to its hands it is not justified to remove its only driver from paddock.
