McLaren boss Martin Whitmarsh has admitted that the Woking team cannot be considered title favourites in such a competitive season - but insists the Lewis Hamilton 'issue' won't be a distraction.

I obviously don't have much to back this up, but something tells me that Whitmarsh has not been the best thing for Mclaren over the recent years. He knows his job, but we can all see that he's definitley not Uncle Ron, who would have eked at least one championship out of the last few seasons, and made sure things like the twitter debacle wouldn't even happen, imo. I don't have much against him, but to me he comes off as almost too nice.

@ Brad, after Australia 09, i think that was the reason he was put in place, in yesterdays press conference Ron may not have been so amicable. I think they have every right to be cautiously optimistic though.
