F1 » From a high to a low as Williams suffer double disaster

Mark Gillan: Both drivers drove extremely well today and at one stage we were looking at a double points finish, unfortunately we suffered two failures, an extremely disappointing way to end the weekend.

@Taz if Bruno has a car to start in 8th 9th and starts from the back and if he has a car to finish 8th or 9th and still finishes 8th or 9th I guess he's pilling up more homework for Sunday but is still is doing his homework. Maldonado was 6th or 7th when he had issues Bruno would had finished 6th or 7th had not his gear box starting failing from mid-race onwards his pace was great. Ofcourse it would be much better for Bruno starting in front but in race pace he's just a better driver than Maldonado even the lap charts for the last couple of races show that. Williams should keep both drivers for nextt year Maldonado sort out his Sunday inconcistancy and Bruno his Saturday inconcistancy. Changing any of the two drivers will be counterproductive for the team as this year both drivers have grown a lot!

Just saying what a lot of people are, it's not the team's fault he hit the wall in practice and qualifying.

I'd be quite happy for him to get another year but it's not looking good for him, he seems to get involved in incidents quite a lot...probably because he's at the wrong end of the grid, I'm not comparing him with Maldonardo either....that's another story entirely.

I can't help but believe that Perez in a Williams would be battling the Lotuses much more consistently than Maldonado and Senna, Senna in particular just isn't fast enough for this level, historic name not withstanding. I'm not convinced that Maldonado has the temperament to be consistently a contender race by race. If only Hulk and Rosberg had stayed on.

@Tunde unfortunately you are an example of the new breed of F1 fans know nothing about the sport! Sauber has a better package overall than Williams so you are saying Perez would do a better job than his doing if he had a worsen car, what you said is comoletely BS!
