Ferrari needs to get their act together real fast and do not allow their blunder to deny Alonso of a third WDC. They need to double their effort and increase their pace in the next 6 races or else. I just pray that the DNF sufferd in spa does not comes back to bite.

Having got into this position, LDM will be taking aim at someone if they let the title slip through there fingers, I think Alonso is the only team member who is safe from Luca's aim.

@Rhino

I'd like to see a different winner but if he does win it this year it'll be impressive as it's not been the best car....Alonso even more impressive.

Going to be fascinating.

I reckon Hamilton is out of it unless the others have a few DNF's.

Ok, Alonso is one of the top drivers.

But seems like everytime he wins, it is because of his talent.
And everytime he loses, it is because of his car...

My thoughts is that his car is not as bad as what he wants us to believe...

His car is definitely as bad as it is made out to be. In the McLaren & Red Bull teams both drivers are fast. In Ferrari it is only Alonso. And this is not some "concerted effort" to push Alonso only. Ferrari dont want to be giving away the constructers title but the car is a dog and Massa doesnt have the talent that ALonso has to still get good finishes.

the rival teams are messing and if ferrari did not capitalize on this gift i do not know if they are going to laugh or cry.By the way they came with a "rear wing" disperforming it is shame.if ferrari deny Alonso the championship he should not wast his talent and he should close the chapter.

Massa has beaten Webber easily in all 3 races after the summer break. How do we know Alonso is maximising his car when he doesnt beat Vettel like in Singapore. Too much Alonso propaganda on these F1 sites ! Alonso is still the same guy who was beaten by Marquez (sp?), Trulli and Fisico until uncle Flavio told them who is the designatednumber 1, even Massa after his accident was beating Alonso in qualifying in the first races 2010.

Alonso is consistent, sure but he is by no means getting the maximum all the time let alone outdriving the car like Ferrari wants to make us believe. He is more like Button on his better days.
