chris, found overhead replay on youtube and it is very interesting. kimi is behind schu. Look at how far back kimi is at start of clip. look at where kimi ends up behind perez as they turn into corner. if schu had not hit jev then he would have to fit into that gap. i think that show jev and perex must be slower going into that corner. also, shu has brakes on and still going same speed as kimi just behind him. same with view from inside kimis car. jev and perez do seem to slow up lot going into that corner. professor richard thinks they go faster because they are racing each other. if it was faster they would brake late and take that line ever time.

@ Schuey,
wronggggggg ...... he attracts criticism because of his driving tactics and ethics, nothing at all to do with the championships, Ayrton Senna ( yes, my hero ) went above and beyond correctness and I believe he should have been penalised more than he was, MS has taken it to another level and I don't believe he got penalised enough quite frankly, what sort of message is being sent to the younger drivers when they see a multiple champion driving in a dangerous manner ?!!!!!

sam. prof richards comments are based on the statements of vergne, perez and post race conference including fia technical document. look at how far schumi was behind when his brakes locked up, and how far he slid.

simple fact is that fia had telemetry/gps etc to confirm their decision.

@richard

Clearly you failed to see as well hun...his front brakes locked up because his rears didn't work so all the braking power which would of been spread through the front and rears went straight to the front = locking up.

Richard, do you ever wonder why after all your one sided, biased, condescending posts it is promptly followed by a post removal from crash? I know why.......

pinky. i suggest that you look at the race again, and also read chris's post, ALL FOUR WHEELS were locked up. the fia found that there was no mitigating factor (such as failure), and schumi himself admitted that it was HIS fault. he never claimed any brake defect and telemetry would have shown if there was.
