We are in such dire recessionary times aren't we?
Is the purchase of a driver within the spending cap?
It should be!!...
Things would change then....

About time he is their biggest asset if they stick with JB and go with someone like Perez or Di Resta they will fall into the midfield. He has a lot of haters but there is no getting away from it he is one of the top 3 out there

Hamilton is a class act (right up there with Alonso and Vettel in my view) and most teams would take him so they should just cough up. Although I don't understand why he wants more, I would be over the moon just to be payed at cost to do his job :P

Obviously it's his choice, but I think I would move, because things seem to have got stale in his current environment. Mclaren can't deliver the title only second place it seems.

Leaving mclaren its something to do Whitmarsh, not money Perhaps it's a little bit of political inside fight in the head between Hamilton, Whitmarsh and his goldenboy, so i hoppe Hami wil leave

@by the one "McLaren" will fall to mid field" if they lost Lewis. Clearly you have no idea about Formula 1. McLaren were a racing winning team way before Hamilton joined & they will be long after he leaves. I know you Hamilton fans are blind, but come on... get a grip!

Jenson is a great driver he'll still be fighting for wins weather or not Hamilton is there.

I'm slightly confused to why Lauda said yesterday he's been offered a major role in Mercedes if Hamilton joins but now he is adamant he'll stay, I hope it's all sorted out soon.
