JImmy, you couldnt put it any better.

And about Lewis twitter Race Stats? well as they say, you shall judge a tree by its fruit, McLaren groomed him from a kid and he learnt well from an organisation that was caught in possession of Ferrari's stats...

Button knows that he doesn't have any real chance to win the title himself. So he is making mindgames to his team-mate saying that apart Alonso and Vettel,no-one else can win the title. But Hamilton is still very much in the game.Vettel is only 23 points ahead. Alonso is 52 up to Hamilton but has just the third fastest car, so at the moment even the podium is difficult for him to reach. What Lewis had to do is to ensure when he wins a race, he must be carefull not retire in the next one. He retired at Valencia after winning in Canada. Than in Belgium after winning in Hungary. And then comes Singapore,a fornight after his victory at Monza. McLaren is the fastest cat at the moment, but I am sure the they will start loosing momentum, is inevitable. Than we should not forgett that it can rain in the next few races,so you never know. Untilnow the heaven has been kind and friendly to Ferrari. I predict that they will help again them. Alonso deserves to be champion this year.

I'm sorry, but could all the Button haters please explain to me how Button saying this means he is not a team player?

Could you also please tell me where Button says in this that it's totally over and everyone (including Hamilton) should give up?

I believe he said that it's 'hard' for anyone except Seb - and he's dead right.

Yes, stating the facts mean you really aren't a team player!

I suppose when you get a puncture on the opening laps of a race and then declare that you should just give up - I guess that's being a team player is it?

Also, to explain Hamilton's performance last year, besides his 'personal' problems, the hamfans tell us that he could see that Vettel was in an unbeatable car and wasn't going to win the title, so he just didn't bother - unlike Jenson who is happy to come second.

Yeah, I guess that's being a team player. Looks like you won't win so throw the toys out of the pram and give up - screw the team and the work they have put in.

PROPER TEAM PLAYER HAMILTON!

JB's comments sound like they came right out of Ron's PR manual, we should hear Martin Whitmarsh giving us 'McLaren are here to win races' very soon. And it would be a pretty good reflection on both drivers if McLaren won the constructors title, they would be a winning 'team' JB is very mindfull of that fact.

Just look at these Hamilton dislike rs. Hamilton performed brilliantly this season by slaughtering his teammate in quali and looks like Mclarens only chance of gaining a WDC but yet we have people bringing up 2011 why dont they talk about 2010 as well.

I can only remember one Lewis mistake in 2012 and that was when he wheeled spin at the start of the Aussie race.

@Indy2007 How about when he tried to defend his position against a much faster Maldo and lost some very valuable points! That is not a mistake it was just plain stupidity I guess!!

At the end of the season though people wouldnt we all be happy for mclaren to focus as a team on both parts and bring home the long awaited constructors title again. im a lewis fan but dont agree with some things that hes done but if your talking about performance when it matters jbs good when car is perfectly balanced. Lewis drives the Wheels off it every race (hence y u saw lewis and vettel pulling away from jb) but it sounds as if the bloody media talks rubbish once again. And im sure if the media were as ruthless in the 80s as they are now they would have said the same about senna!!
