It shows his head has been turned by his management company, money over silverware. I think he will come to regret it, but good luck to him anyway. Go sergio if he get's the drive.

How about Kimi along side Jenson, what a laid back team that would be, good luck Lewis. The money Mercedes pay Lewis will be less than they would have paid out on front wing's next year, if Micheal's leaving.

If true then Hamilton must feel there is a reason to be confident that Merc will be more competitive . Back in 94 Brawn was with Benetton then switched to Ferrari eventually going to Honda aka Brawn. Each team became the team to beat . Merc (Brawn) have been recruiting several top F1 engineers over recent months. Methinks Mercedes will become very competitive next year and Hamilton is convinced this will happen. Yes he likes money but he likes to win more - let's face it the sums the top chaps are paid are enough to secure their financial future. Perez for McLaren - could be - he has mexican mobile phone money which could tie in with Vodafone - a merger?

Final confirmation of a move that most felt was inevitable. Personally, I think this move will be good for F1, and, personal agreements aside, when Mercedes designs its 2014 car and engine package to work together, Lewis could find himself with the package to beat. ,,,or not.
But it will definitely spice up the grid for the next couple of years, and not the other driver dominos will quickly fall into place, I suspect.

Already confirmed on the morning news. Good riddance spoilt little t..t. Always was about the money. Think he will now fade into middle order obscurity.. Looking forward to seeing Rosberg consistently show whose quickest. At least Mclaren get rid of one of the most overhyped and odjectionable drivers in memmory. Good bye!
